IDENTIFYING and helping to remove barriers inhibiting economic development will be one of the key aims of Jersey Business Ltd over the next three years.
This is one of five core activities identified in the independent, grant-funded company’s three-year plan, which has been published today.
The other activities are providing advice and support to those considering the launch of a new enterprise, targeted support for established businesses, stimulation of new funds for sustainable business activity, and ‘ambassadorial’ work on behalf of the business community.
The ambassadorial role will include partnerships with schools to explain the importance of business in Island society and to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit.
