The Jersey Arts Centre programme is designed to provide the widest range of art, craft, theatre and children's Courses and Workshops - as well as opportunities to learn something very different from visiting tutors and performers.

Course details: This five-week course explores the history of documentary film and the vital process of creating, filming and screening. For two hours a week, students will learn the necessary skills to produce documentary films, including understanding financial sponsorship, writing a proposal, scriptwriting and creating budgets and business plans.
The weekly theoretical lessons and practical exercises will give students important technical skills whilst developing their individual creativity. By the end of the course, students will have produced a proposal and baseline for their own future documentary project.
