Assisting the Constable in addressing the drainage problems and resurfacing of the parish car park situated opposite the school. Addressing concerns regarding excess speed on the parish roads and lanes. Ensuring a satisfactory outcome from the longstanding ownership and financial responsibility of the roads, footpaths and grass verges in the existing Maufant Village and also assisting the residents of the new Maufant development to establish a residents’ association to ensure that those residents do not suffer the problems experienced by the residents in existing villages. Maintaining a balance between meeting a housing need for first buyers and encroachment in the countryside.
