Voter information
ELECTORS go to the polls on Wednesday, 15 October, to vote for Senators and Constables.
There are a total of 21 Senatorial candidates for the six seats with an Island-side mandate; and elections for Constables in four parishes, St Clement, St Lawrence, St Mary and St Peter.
These elections will see 16 and 17-year-olds voting for the first time, as a result of the States’ decision to drop the minimum voting age from 18 to 16. Some of this age group will be among the total 55,142 Islanders who are registered to vote.
Polling stations on election day will be open from 8 am to 8pm. Here is a guide to where to vote.
Where to vote St Helier
St Helier is divided into three districts for electoral purposes and has four polling stations. The location of these stations and the districts that they service are detailed below.
No 1 district
Vingtaine de Haut and Bas de la Ville
Polling Station: St James’s Centre, St James’s Street
No 2 district
Vingtaines de Haut and Bas du Mont au Prêtre
Polling Station: Springfield Hall, Janvrin Road
No 3 district
There are two polling stations in No 3 district which consists of Rouge Bouillon, Mont à l’Abbé and Mont Cochon. One is at First Tower School for electors living in the following streets/roads: Bellozanne Avenue, Bellozanne Road, Bellozanne Valley, Clos St André, Fern Valley, Hansford Lane, Route es Nouaux, Ruelle Vaucluse, Millbrook Lane, Mont Cochon, Old Mont Cochon Hill, Paris Lane, Rue Fliquet (Thorn Hill), Rue de Trachy, St Andrew’s Road, St Aubin’s Road, Tower Road, Victoria Avenue, Waterworks Valley and West Hill.
Polling Station: First Tower School
The polling station for all other electors of Number 3 district will be at Rouge Bouillon School, Brighton Road.

Where to vote in St Saviour
St Saviour’s six vingtaines are divided into three electoral districts, each having its own polling station.
No 1 district
Vingtaine de la Petite Longueville
Polling station: Georgetown Methodist Church Hall, Longueville Road
No 2 district
Vingtaine de Sous l’Eglise
Polling station: Parish Hall
No 3 district
Vingtaines de Maufant, Sous La Hougue, Pigneaux and Grande Longueville
Polling Station: Georgetown Methodist Church Hall, Longueville Road
Where to vote in St Brelade
No 1 district
Vingtaines de Noirmont and Du Coin
Polling Station: Parish Hall
No 2 district
Vingtaines des Quennevais and La Moye
Polling station: Communicare Centre, Route des Quennevais
The other nine parishes – St Clement, Grouville, St John, St Lawrence, St Martin, St Mary, St Ouen, St Peter and Trinity – each have a single polling station which is the Parish Hall (in St Marin, the Public Hall).
The elections for Deputies take place on Wednesday, 26 November. The nomination meetings will be held throughout the Island on Tuesday, 4 November.
