Living in Jersey

Jersey may be a tiny Island but in financial services it has the employment opportunities of a major city.

The Island’s political and fiscal stability, plus nearly half a century’s expertise in finance, has attracted many of the world’s leading banks, accountancy practices and investment managers. The finance sector is constantly evolving and adapting to meet changing conditions, but there is one constant – an attractive lifestyle.

You are never far from the sea in Jersey, and although the Island is not much bigger than Gatwick Airport, its 50 square miles is packed with an enormous variety of scenery including cliffs, sand dunes, tiny villages, small fishing ports, and extensive open country.

The demands of management and staff employed in the finance sector means that the Island has a quality of transport, shops, restaurants and hotels, which you would not normally find in a tiny island.
