Fonts and text
The general rule of thumb when making up your advertisement is not to use too many different styles of font. The more you use, the busier the advertisement will look, becoming harder on the eye for the reader. Try not to make your text too small either. This also makes it difficult for the reader. Try to rephrase your copy if it is too long rather than make the font size smaller to fit it all in.
Once you are happy with the design of your advertisement, you should run your spell checking option to make sure that there are no embarrassing spelling mistakes on your advertisement.
Before supplying us with your artwork, you will need to use a programme to embed all your fonts into your advertisement. This is required to prevent your text reflowing or setting itself automatically because different computers are supplied with different fonts and it is unlikely that we will have exactly the same fonts as you.
Make sure that the application that you are using to creating your PDF has all fonts in embedded into it. You can check this by opening up the pdf that you have create and press ctrl + d (windows users) or apple +d (mac user). Under the font tab you should list all the fonts that are used in the document and each one should have embedded subset next to it.
