All you need to know to win CASH 4 Your School!

Win Cash4Schools, brought to you by the Jersey Evening Post and our new sponsor the One Foundation, returns on Monday 26 September and closes Saturday 22 October.

For four weeks, the Jersey Evening Post will publish tokens with varying value of points. We will also publish special gold bonus tokens during the four week campaign.

This year we have altered the number of schools that can win from three to ten, so more schools have a chance of winning money to help their school.

The prizes will be split between primary and secondary schools with primary schools split into two groups. This will be those schools with less than 170 pupils and those primary schools with over 170 pupils.

The prize money will be split:
Primary schools- less than 170 pupils £4,000
To be split, first £2,000, second £1,000 and third £500 and fourth £500.

Primary schools- over 170 pupils £4,000
To be split, first £2,000, second £1,000 and third £500 and fourth £500

Secondary schools £2,000 to be split, first £1,500, second £500

All schools will compete against each other on a pro-rata basis. Pupil numbers will be based on registrations as at the start of the new school year,2011-2012 as supplied by the Education Department.

Plus Weekly Prizes
All schools registered with the Jersey Evening Post by Friday 23 September 2011 will have the opportunity to win weekly prizes of a collection of vouchers for their school. Vouchers include CineWorld tickets, Aquasplash Day passes, HMV, WH Smith and iTunes vouchers. The weekly winning school will decide how best the prizes can be used. Prizes will be drawn each Tuesday during the promotion and announced in the Cash4Schools half page on Friday of that week.

What to do
The tokens need to be cut-out around their edges and saved in the specially printed envelopes which we will be supplying to the schools.

Bring your tokens into school to be bagged. How they will be collected is up to each school.

Encourage your parents, relations and neighbours to collect the tokens printed each day in the Jersey Evening Post between the 26September and Saturday 22 of October.

Photocopied tokens are not acceptable and only tokens in the Cash4Schools envelopes will be counted.

The schools with the highest ratio of points to pupil count will be notified to send in their tokens for verification.

All schools must notify the Jersey Evening Post by at the end of the promotion by sending in the Notification Form by latest 5pm Wednesday 2 November 2011.

The winners will be announced at an invite only function on Thursday 10th of November.

Entry for the promotion is for Jersey schools only.
The notification of points collected must be into the Jersey Evening Post by 5pm Wednesday 2 November 2011.
Tokens must be collected in the official Cash4Schools envelopes. Tokens must be cut out around the dotted edges. Photocopies will not be accepted. All entries will be subject to scrutiny and validation.
No responsibility will be accepted for any entries which are lost, damaged or delayed in the post. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Incomplete, mutilated illegible or damaged entries will be declared void.
Prizes are not transferable and no alternatives are available. Winners will be required to take part in any relevant publicity including photographs. Full rules and regulations will be published on our website www.thisisjersey.com/wincash. The Editor’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the winning schools.
