Who we are
Founded in 1890, the JEP is the Island’s leading news and advertising medium, providing comprehensive coverage of Island issues and events, as well as information and entertainment.
The Jersey Evening Post is part of the Guiton Group, an organisation which has interests in publishing and information technology in Guernsey, and the Isle of Man as well as Jersey.
The Guiton Group itself is wholly owned by Claverley, a privately owned group with interests in publishing, printing and computer systems. Claverley was already firmly established as a major Guiton shareholder when the JEP’s founding family decided to relinquish control of the newspaper after 113 years.
