THE Strategic Plan which will set out a framework for States policy over the coming years moved closer today with the publication of the Strategic Aims report and discussion paper.

The Policy and Resources Committee have published a list of objectives, goals and success criteria from which the plan will be taken.

The final version will be lodged for debate by the States in April, and will provide an overall direction for States policy for the coming years.By April, P & R want to prioritise the measures in the report and discussion paper and come up with a set of compatible measures for the plan.

This will be done partly by means of a further Imagine Jersey event with the public.

Senior politicians and civil servants will also be involved.

The list published today was compiled from work done by working groups, the first Imagine Jersey event in November, and input from States Members and chief officers.
