Fineprice to be redeveloped into Marks & Spencer food hall

THE Fineprice supermarket at St Clement is to become a Marks & Spencer food hall this summer.
The store, which is owned by CI Traders and was bought last year from the Benest group, will close in July for six weeks for redevelopment.However, an assurance has been given by CI Traders director Andy Cook that there will be no job losses as a result as the existing staff will be retrained to run the new food hall.Full report in today’s JEP, on sale at 1.15 pm.
