New trainers appointed for motorcycle scheme

COMPULSORY basic motorcycle training will restart at the end of next month.
Driver and vehicle standards has appointed a new provider to run the scheme a month after the last organisation refused to continue following rows over the location and time available for the courses.The new scheme will be based at La Collette and will still cost £80, although there are expected to be some changes to the way the course is structured.Details of how people can enroll on the new courses will be announced next month.Full report in today’s JEP, on sale at 1.15 pm.
