Great? No, now we’re Fantastic!

FORGET the Great North Run – Jersey now has a Fantastic North Run.

The Jersey Hash House Harriers have changed the name of their popular annual event after failing to reach a compromise with the organisers of the BUPA Great North Run.

As reported by the JEP last month, the BUPA run organisers claimed that Jersey’s Hash House half-marathon was being ‘passed off’ as being connected with the famous road race held annually in Newcastle.So the Jersey organisers, rather than call their event merely ‘Great’, have now stepped up a level to being ‘Fantastic’.
