GCSEs and A-levels could become a thing of the past.
A radical shake-up of the school exams system has been proposed which could see them being replaced by a four-tier diploma.An interim report which forms part of an independent review of the UK exam system was received by Jersey’s Education Department today Although Education are not yet willing to comment on its recommendations, the secretary of the Jersey Association of Headteachers, Chris Beirne, said that if GCSEs and A-levels were scrapped in the UK, Jersey would have to follow suit.
