Former P&R president to chair WEB?

FORMER Senator Pierre Horsfall could be the new chairman of the Waterfront Enterprise Board.

His appointment was proposed today by the Policy and Resources Committee for future approval by the States.The post has been vacant since the resignation of the previous chairman, Martin Bralsford, and has recently been advertised in the JEP.Mr Horsfall, a former president of the Policy and Resources Committee who stepped down from the States before the 2002 elections, is a non-executive director of Jersey Waterfront Hotel Holdings Ltd – the company that intends to build a hotel on the St Helier waterfront.
