Customs and police break up drugs ring

CUSTOMS and police officers believe they have broken up a major drugs syndicate in Jersey.Some time yesterday they seized a large quantity of drugs in the Island.
Around £220,000 worth of cannabis and ecstasy was captured following a combined police and Customs operation.
Early this morning four men were arrested and were in custody at the Customs Department at Maritime House.
Investigating officers were questioning the people from 8.30 am this morning.It is understood that two of them were local, aged 21 and 29, and two were visitors aged 36 and 40.
