Constable is re-elected
Friday 16th July 2004, 12:00AM BST.
THE Constable of St Saviour, Phil Ozouf, was last night re-elected unopposed for a third term.
He was proposed by Bryan Le Lièvre and seconded by parish Deputy Alan Breckon.
Mr Le Lièvre described the Constable as a true parish man who placed a high priority on the community.
He was fully supportive of the annual events organised for senior citizens, the twinning with Villedieu-Les-Poelles and had been part of the resurgence of St Saviour’s Battle of Flowers association.
Deputy Breckon paid tribute to Mr Ozouf’s 55 years service to the municipality, the last six as Constable.
