Skull is fractured in town assault
Monday 19th July 2004, 12:00AM BST.
A MAN was in the General Hospital with a fractured skull this morning after being attacked in the early hours of yesterday.
He was one of two Islanders, aged 39 and 40, who were left unconscious on the pavement outside Fotosound, in Charing Cross, at around 12.20 am.
The police were today looking through CCTV footage from street cameras and those from pubs in a bid to find out what led up to the assaults.
A man was seen running from the area up King Street.
It is thought that the attacker would have suffered injuries to his knuckles in the attack.
Detectives are also investigating an assault on a 60-year-old man in Winston Churchill Park, St Brelade, by a group of around 16 teenagers at around 10 pm yesterday.
