Drug man jailed for seven and a half years

AN unemployed painter and decorator was jailed for seven and a half years yesterday for possession of more than £10,000 worth of cocaine in addition to other drugs offences.
David Thomas (44) was imprisoned by the Royal Court after they heard that he had been found in a town centre pub dealing class A drugs.
Crown Advocate Andrew Belhomme said that Thomas, formerly of Liverpool, was arrested in Toddy’s Bar, Ann Street, on 6 March.
On the way out of the pub, Thomas took off his leather jacket and left it inside the pub, said Advocate Belhomme.
A police officer picked it up and took it outside.
A total of 155 ecstasy tablets were recovered with £751 in cash.
A cannabis joint and a set of electronic weighing scales were also recovered.
