Islander’s £10,000 donation

A WEALTHY Islander has donated £10,000 to the Jersey Asia Relief Appeal and is urging others to dig deep to boost the funds raised.

The anonymous donor said: ‘Come on, Jersey, we can help.

I hope and pray that it will inspire others as fortunate as we are to do the same.’ The donor said his family gives to various local charities but never before have they felt as helpless as they did this Christmas when confronted by the appalling images of death and destruction on such an unbelievable scale.
