Thursday 7th April 2005, 12:00AM BST.

ANOTHER Jersey junior netballer, 13-year-old Jacy Brown, has been marked out by England coaches as a possible future national team member.

She was ‘spotted’ at the recent competition in the UK in which the Jersey teams aquitted themselves so well, and her name has been put forward to go to an U17 England Potential camp at the end of April.

‘Lauren Devine and Sophie Hickey will be there too, and the girls will be having an educational weekend, where they learn what they need to do in terms of their training, its intensity, the psychology and nutrition,’ netball development officer Linda Andrews said.

‘It’s wonderful that she’s been spotted and she’s going into the programme now to be noticed.’
