Share your favourite Muratti moment with us

IT’S one of the biggest days in the Channel Islands’ sporting calendar – and it has been for a century.
The Muratti Vase final between Jersey and Guernsey on 2 May promises to be one of the most memorable ever with a 5,000 all-seater stadium being erected for the event at Foote’s Lane.
The Centenary match will undoubtedly produce some fantastic memories but it’s stories from the past that we’re interested in for a special JEP supplement being published later this month.
Do you have vivid recollections of a particular game, a cracking goal, an outrageous sending-off or any Muratti memory which sticks in the mind? Whether it’s from the 1990s or the 1950s, we want to hear about them for inclusion in our nostalgic look back at the annual inter-insular clashes.
You can e-mail your stories to nbradbury@jerseyeveningpost.com or call Neil Bradbury on 611776.
