FORMER England football captain David Platt is visiting Jersey this weekend to put on a two-day coaching seminar at Le Rocquier School, in St Clement.
The event has been sponsored by the NatWest Sports development scheme and organised by Ian Horswell of Grouville FC and ID Elite Soccer School.
This course is aimed at prospective teachers and coaches of the game or anyone who wishes to broaden their football knowledge.
Platt will cover a wide range of topics from formations, shapes and tactics and the practical demonstrations will be based on Brazil and AC Milan and should be exciting and fun to be involved with.
The course commences at 11.30 am on Saturday finishing at 6 pm on Sunday.
Anyone wishing to attend should telephone 07797 718251 or log on to www.afluk.co.uk
