Festival-goers urged to respect residents
Friday 2nd September 2005, 12:00AM BST.
ORGANISERS of tomorrow’s Jersey Live festival are urging concert-goers to respect Trinity residents as they go to and from the venue.
Warren Le Sueur stressed that the success of the sell-out event was as much about the bands as making sure parishioners wanted the event to return to their backyards in 2006.
‘We want people to have a really good time, but also to have respect for the parish community,’ he said.
‘No matter what happens, people need to keep the noise down as they leave the site.’ He added that the set-down and collection points for taxis and buses would be clearly marked on signs and that the last bus would not leave until the last person was off the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Showground site.
