Greens praised in food contest

THE Green Olive in Anley Street has beaten some of the Island’s most celebrated restaurants to win this year’s Menu de Terroir competition.
It won the restaurant category in the annual contest organised by the Genuine Jersey Products Association – and it was a ‘green’ sweep as the pub category was won by the Castle Green at Gorey.
The competition attracted 22 entries and highly commended were Ocean at the Atlantic Hotel and the Garden Restaurant at Jersey Pottery.
