Clipper slips to sixth place

THE Jersey Clipper has dropped from second to sixth place in the last week but it is all part of the plan, says skipper Mark Taylor.
Less than a week ago the crew were celebrating their jump into the leading pack, but the erratic Doldrums, with their unpredictable and variable wind conditions, have seen them sail at a slow six miles per hour.
