Tower and St John among the goals as they maintain 100 per cent records

COCA-COLA Ladies division joint leaders First Tower and St John both recorded big victories on Sunday morning.

Champions Tower romped to a 13-0 success against bottom team Grouville at La Hague Manor while St John hit seven past St Paul’s without reply at St Saviour.

Leanne Bell helped herself to five Tower goals while there was a hat-trick from Sarah Bland and a brace by Lauren Jéhan.

Singles were added by Louise Vandervleit, Katie McLaughlin and Kerry Sauvage.

Fiona McKinnon and Becky Darts both scored twice for St John with singles from Laurie Morin, Nina Woods and Laura Robertson.

St Peter and St Clement stayed in touch, three points behind, after both won on their travels.

Ebonnie Hotton and Lisa Stallard netted in St Clement’s 2-1 win at St Brelade where Uschi Neubert replied for the hosts.

Jo Fuller hit a brace and Candice Sharples and Susan Stewart one each as St Peter won 4-2 at the Hockey Club against Jersey Wanderers.

Kathryn Porter grabbed both for Wanderers.
