THE campaign for the Jersey Live Festival of Music has won top prize in this year’s Chartered Institute of Marketing Jersey awards.

The winners were announced on Friday evening at a dinner ball held at the Hotel de France and attended by more than 600 people.

It was organised by the Jersey CIM Committee and hosted by television presenter Lucy Alexander.

Jersey Live, named Marketing Achievement of the Year, brought over international acts such as Kasabian and the Bravery for their summer event, the second year it has been run.

The organisers were praised for their ‘dynamic’ campaign to local and UK media.

Of the 7,500 tickets sold, 1,000 were sold out of the Island, with 3,000 tickets were snapped up within the first two days of release.

Judges said that the marketing plan had ‘clear objectives’ which created a feelgood factor locally and awareness in the UK.
