Woman beaten up in town

A 40-YEAR-OLD woman had clumps of her hair pulled out when she was beaten up by a couple in town at about 11.20 pm last night.
The woman was assaulted at the top of Victoria Street at the junction with David Place following a row that began outside La Cala nightclub in Beresford Street.
She is believed to have been punched and kicked to the ground and had clumps of hair pulled out while she fought to defend herself.
The assailants were seen to speed off in a vehicle a short time later.
