Fags or food?
Wednesday 7th December 2005, 12:00AM GMT.
PUB goers are being given a voice to choose whether they would like to see smoking or eating in their local.
Ann Street Breweries is asking its customers to vote on what they would prefer to see when they go for a drink.
A partial ban on smoking in areas where food is served is to come into effect within weeks, although it will probably not become law this side of Christmas.
A total ban will not be seen before 2007.
In a newsletter to Ann Street customers the pub group is asking people to let them know whether they would prefer smoking stopped or an end to food being served.
