Man in court on indecent assault charges going back 40 years

A 68-YEAR-OLD man accused of indecently assaulting eight young boys, some more than 40 years ago, was committed to the Royal Court today.
Thomas Charles Hamon, of Clos du Paradis, is accused of 12 counts of indecent assault on boys aged between ten and 15 between December 1964 and March 1989.
His wife was in court this morning and watched as her husband was remanded in custody.
Hamon’s lawyer, Advocate Julian Gollop, asked that as well as the usual social inquiry report, psychological and psychiatric reports should be prepared on Hamon.
