The new Rocket man?

A FORMER St Michael’s student is being tipped for stardom with a highly acclaimed dance track play-listed on Radio 1 and MTV.

Producer James Reynolds (34), as one half of the hotly tipped partnership Braund Reynolds, released Rocket (A Natural Gambler) on Monday this week.

BBC Radio 1, The Box and MTV have already devoted prime listening and viewing time to the single, and the video and the track have featured on CD:UK, Popworld and as an essential record for DJs including Radio 1′s Jo Whiley, Pete Tong and Scott Mills.

James said: ‘It’s massively exciting and we’ve got our fingers crossed that it’s going to do really well.

The feedback has been great and the plan is now to see how it charts.

If it goes top ten, then we’ll go from there.

‘It’s a really manic, high-energy sound and we’re hopefully all geared up to be a monster live act.’
