St Malo link ‘good news for Jersey’

ISLANDERS travelling to France are now able to take advantage of a new high-speed train service from St Malo.

Yesterday saw the start of the new commercial TGV service between St Malo and Paris, which will take just under three hours to complete the journey, including stops at Dol de Bretagne and Rennes.

Jersey’s tourism industry are also hoping to tap into an estimated 20% increase in visitors to St Malo, although Jersey Tourism is waiting until early next year before carrying out any promotion.
