Rappers ready to roll for Fort date in March
Thursday 15th December 2005, 12:00AM GMT.
TOP British rap act and European festival favourites Goldie Lookin’ Chain will play Jersey in March.
The band who broke into the big time with Guns Don’t Kill People, Rappers Do will appear at Fort Regent on 3 March, having been booked by Jersey Live promoters Positiv.
They say the booking underlines their commitment to bringing quality music to Jersey year-round and not just for the September event, which is establishing itself as the final date in the UK festival season.
Throughout the autumn Positiv have been putting breakthrough British acts on at the Havana Club, including a sell-out gig last Friday by Art Brut.
