Man is jailed for indecent assault
Wednesday 21st December 2005, 12:00AM GMT.
A MAN who led a girl into a flat and indecently assaulted her, while his pregnant girlfriend was at home, was sentenced to three years in prison on Monday.
Andrew Scott Kelly (21), from Dundee, met the girl in a nightclub and promised to walk her to a taxi, but instead led her to a friend’s house, where he attacked her.
The attack happened on 19 June after a night in Platinum nightclub.
Crown Advocate Conrad Yates said Kelly had approached his victim in the nightclub complimenting her on the way she looked.
When he tried to kiss her she told him she had a boyfriend.
CCTV cameras recorded the pair dancing together for an hour before the club closed at 2 am.
At this point Kelly offered to walk his victim to a taxi but instead took her to his friend’s flat opposite the police station in Rouge Boullion.
