Amelia makes her mark
Thursday 22nd December 2005, 12:00AM GMT.
IT is only a matter of time before Amelia Jeanne beats the boys in the junior section.
She has been improving all season and last weekend was second to Chris Vibert in the Junior C route of the Jersey Classic & Modern Trials Club event at St Ouen.
In the last trial of the year, the bikers soon discovered that the dry surface over the route at Mont Rossignol was deceptive, and that, just underneath, traction was hard to find.
Around 40 riders took part, with Lee Rogan winning the Senior A route.
Graeme du Feu took first place in the Senior B route with Adam Le Cheminant finishing second at his first attempt in this class.
The Senior C route went to Chris Fox followed by Andy Bellée, with just four points separating them.
Paul Miller came in an excellent third on his immaculately restored Honda.
Richard Vibert took first place in Junior A with Thomas Mollet again winning the Junior B route.
Archie du Feu on his Tiger Cub won the pre 65 route.
