Young bands banned

YOUNG bands have been barred from the Havana Club after a charity gig turned ugly on Christmas Eve.
JMF (Jersey Mother F*****s) were thrown off stage after being warned to curb their wild antics at Jersey Band Aid for the Homeless.
Singers Craig and Grant Milon (both 19) were diving off the stage and into the crowd.
A mosh pit broke out, with dozens of youths jumping and pushing each other.
The club’s toilets were also smashed up by unknown vandals.
Now owner Martin Sayers says that they have deprived all up-and-coming bands of playing at the Havana.
He said: ‘As far as young bands and under-age people go, this is the end.
It was getting a bit wild with the crowd moshing.
I asked JMF to calm down.
But they ignored me.
I had to get up on stage and cut the sound system.
‘Later the toilets got vandalised.
Someone tried to rip the pipes down and pulled tiles off the wall.’
