Wednesday 11th January 2006, 12:00AM GMT.
A GUERNSEY hospital worker and mother-of-three was killed by her son, prosecutors claimed in the island’s Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Labourer Wayne Le Sauvage (31) appeared in the court charged with murdering his mother, Elaine, on Thursday night last week.
He entered no plea and was remanded in custody for a week.
The 49-year-old’s body was discovered with clean bare feet in Rue de la Corbinerie, St Martin’s, at about 8 am on Friday.
She was last seen alive at 2 pm on Thursday, when she left work at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, and was reported missing that evening.
The accused returned to Guernsey on 22 December to spend Christmas with his mother after working for 11 months in Birmingham.
He was arrested on Friday evening at Gatwick Airport.
