Saturday 21st January 2006, 12:00AM GMT.
A FOUR-YEAR-OLD child picked up a drug addict’s needle while playing near St Ouen’s beach.
Mont Nicolle pupil Marley Ellis-Brecknell (4) was playing with his sister Libby (8), also a pupil at Mont Nicolle, near Cutty Sark off the Five Mile Road.
His parents Tina and Digby Ellis-Brecknell, of Mont Sohier, St Brelade, were inside the family’s camper van when he appeared holding a needle.
Mrs Ellis-Brecknell, who owns Fish’n'Beads art shop in St Brelade’s Bay, said it ‘made her stomach turn’.

He said, “”Look what I’ve found Mummy”".
