Young talent on stage for charity

THE Island’s young musical talent is once again showing its commitment to charitable causes with two very different concerts in aid of Jersey Side By Side.

On Saturday 28 January the Live Lounge will be playing host to a local bands’ event organised by Dave McKenzie, Dave Findlay and Paul Holt of Rock in The Park.

All proceeds will go to the Side By Side Earthquake Appeal launched in October after the devastating earthquake in Pakistan.

The event will start at 6.30 pm on the ground floor of the James Street venue with acoustic sets from Giles Robson of deNova-Blues, Paul Holt, Coloured Room and Kelly McKenzie and Friends.

The music moves upstairs from 9 pm with sets from Omerta, Leash, Suzy’s Field, Christian Jegard and The Author.
