On Tuesday the young side, with Jersey’s Becky Herbert in the squad, produced a good performance against European Nations Champions Holland to draw 1-1 with a 66th minute equaliser from Lisa Wooding.
Yesterday England were beaten 2-1 by the hosts, Argentina, with Kate Walsh grabbing their goal.
Coach Danny Kerry said: ‘We played at a level above our world ranking.
I am very pleased and proud of this groups togetherness and work ethic.’
