Tenants thrown out as Housing lose patience

A FAMILY of six are among four sets of tenants evicted by Housing this week over non-payment of back rent.
Housing Minister Terry Le Main has confirmed that he signed eviction orders for four tenants – including one family with four children – who he says ‘are taking the mickey out of the department and the taxpayer’.
He says the tenants have refused to co-operate with the department, that they have trashed their States-owned homes and that they have run up large arrears of rent.
