Union call meeting over Harbour workers’ future

HARBOUR workers have called a mass meeting this afternoon over incorporation plans at the port.
Transport and General Workers Union official Nick Corbel says his members are concerned at the prospect of privatisation and redundancies at the Harbour.
He has called a meeting for all manual workers at the Harbours Department at 1.15 pm so that they can find out what action the union’s members want them to take.
