THE man who died after falling through the roof of Normans has been named as 26-year-old Thomas Gibb.
He fell through a skylight of the building nearest the Tunnel while climbing over the roof with a friend at around 3 am yesterday.
His friend, a 29-year-old, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempting to break into the premises.
After being held overnight, he was yesterday released on police bail and will be interviewed at a later date.
Mr Gibb, who played football for St Lawrence, was originally from Scotland and had been in the Island for five years.
He lived in the Mont Les Vaux area.
