Prisoners taught my daughter how to be a drug smuggler

A MOTHER who fought for her 15-year-old daughter to be able to continue her schooling while in prison has revealed that she actually learned how to become a drug smuggler there.

In today’s JEP the girl reveals how adult drug users took over her education because no teacher was provided at La Moye.

Like several other girls, the daughter was locked up in the adult female wing of the jail and was left with no choice but to spend her time with its high percentage of drug runners and addicts.

It was there, she says, that she learned how to hide packets of illegal drugs inside her.
