Purpose-built pool aimed at learners
Saturday 18th March 2006, 12:00AM GMT.
ISLANDERS learning to swim could benefit from a specially designed pool at Les Ormes.
A new learn-to-swim pool could be built by the end of the year, if an application submitted to the Planning Department is approved.
It would aim to provide programmes for aqua-natal groups, babies, pre-school to primary schoolchildren and include adult lessons as well as aqua fit classes.
The project, funded by the Bosdet Foundation, would be run by Le Mourier Swim School and aim to give everyone the chance to learn to swim in a warm purpose-built pool.
