Cable & Wireless appoint director

CABLE & Wireless Jersey have appointed Simon Radford as a non-executive director.

Mr Radford, who was previously senior partner at Deloitte and Touche in Jersey, has over 17 years’ experience of working at partner level in both an offshore and onshore environment.

He has worked with a variety of businesses in the wealth management sector as well as in IT, retail and construction.

He also has experience of liaison with government and trade bodies.

After retiring from Deloitte and Touche in 2004, he continued to work with the firm as a consultant and is also finance director of Aztec Financial Services Ltd.

He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1980 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
