Delegates line up for Jersey’s London event

OVER 350 delegates have already registered for Jersey’s fifth annual finance industry conference in London next month.
Chief Minister Frank Walker and Economic Development Minister Philip Ozouf will be at the conference, organised by Jersey Finance, on 3 May.
The day will include a keynote address from Senator Walker and a regulatory review from the director general of the Jersey Financial Services Commission, David Carse.
An update on industry developments in Jersey will be delivered by Clive Jones, chairman and managing director of Citibank (Channel Islands).
The programme will also include an insight from Sue Baines of Northern Trust, Dennis Turner, chief economist of HSBC Bank, will speak about ‘The Return of Boom or Bust?’ and Ian Ling, a director of Ashburton, will focus on ‘Today’s Demographics, Tomorrow’s Future’.
