JERSEY and New Zealand issued a joint design stamp today to celebrate the Queen’s 80th birthday.
Printed in France, the special issue stamp features a photograph of the Queen smiling broadly and set in a frame embossed with 99 per cent pure silver.
The souvenir miniature sheets and first-day covers feature maps of the two island nations and their respective flags.
The Jersey stamp is valued at £5 and the New Zealand version at $5 NZ.
