Three top bands for festival

A TRIO of top UK bands have now been confirmed for the Jersey Live festival in September – with ultra-cool Birmingham quartet Editors the latest to sign on the dotted line.

They will play at around 5 pm at the festival – at the RJAHS Showground on 2 September – because they have to leave the Island that night to head for a festival in Istanbul.

They join The Zutons and Snow Patrol in the line-up, which is the festival’s strongest yet.

Editors are currently on tour in the US but will return to play major UK and European festivals this summer having gone down a storm – literally – during a rain-lashed performance at Glastonbury last year.

Warren Holt of Jersey Live organisers Positiv has been trying to sign them for the last two months and says it is the most exciting news yet.
