POCKET powerhouse Emma Crossley came back to Jersey last night clutching four medals from the World Kenpo Karate Championships.
The seven-year-old St Saviour schoolgirl – who recently became the Island’s youngest-ever kenpo black belt – won two golds, a silver and a bronze at the championships in Utrecht in Holland which attracted hundreds of competitors from 22 countries.
The medals were all in solo forms – including weapons – in the under-17s category, but the size and experience of her opponents meant that she she did not fare so well in the sparring contest.
